He always did, the witch-hunt on him because of a few mistakes against Everton last year was unjust imo. Legend

GlenMag Posted Sunday at 20:07 Share Posted Sunday at 20:07 Aye, he won that for us today I think, there was one phase of play early in the sec half where he was on Diaz like a whippet, never seen anything like it
nufc123 Posted Sunday at 20:09 Share Posted Sunday at 20:09 Turned up massive in the semi and now final.

Marquee Moon Posted Sunday at 20:54 Share Posted Sunday at 20:54 Buzzing for him. Didn’t seem right for things to just fizzle out given how brilliant he was to begin with.
Gallowgate Toon Posted Sunday at 20:55 Share Posted Sunday at 20:55 Was feeling his hammy for about an hour. Absolutely outrageous performance.
mouldy_uk Posted Sunday at 20:55 Share Posted Sunday at 20:55 His reputation has taken a bit of bashing the last six months, but I’m super chuffed he helped us to achieve todays result
alexf Posted Sunday at 20:56 Share Posted Sunday at 20:56 Thought he was fucked with injury first half but he was a stand out performer first half. Was winning every duel and right up for it, helping to organise. Saw him crying at full time and it looks like this meant alot to him. So chuffed for him and helped redeem himself after the last difficult year or so and is now part of history.
Conjo Posted Sunday at 21:08 Share Posted Sunday at 21:08 Thought he played well on Monday against West Ham too, so it wasn't surprising that he did well today as well. Even taking away what he did footballing wise, simply by being on the pitch with his "aura" and experience in lack of better words really helped us today. Robbo2 Posted Sunday at 21:09 Share Posted Sunday at 21:09 Didn't think he had a performance like that in him against a team like Liverpool. What a signing. Can shag who he wants tonight

Jonas Posted Sunday at 21:23 Share Posted Sunday at 21:23 He's got great nous in these big games that helps me so can only imagine what it does for his teammates and what a time to regain his set-piece prowess.
Erikse Posted Sunday at 22:42 Share Posted Sunday at 22:42 (edited) Thought we should have sold him some time back, but today I'm really happy he stayed to win a trophy with us. On top of that he really helped us win today aswell. Based on this game alone, it was worth the keep for me. Well done. Thought Diaz would be too quick for him and cause havoc but Trippier dominated him, was just too clever. Burn, Joelinton,Trippier and Tino were the star performers today imo. bealios Posted Sunday at 23:14 Share Posted Sunday at 23:14 Just watched the match again after getting back from Wembley - he was the one whispering to Bruno on the way up the stair to get Jamal up, and he did it again just before the lift. Absolute class bloke.
Lush Vlad Posted yesterday at 00:22 Share Posted yesterday at 00:22 That first half performance was something out of a technical manual. It was close to being flawless. How was he that good?!
