Thought he was fucked with injury first half but he was a stand out performer first half. Was winning every duel and right up for it, helping to organise. 

 

Saw him crying at full time and it looks like this meant alot to him. So chuffed for him and helped redeem himself after the last difficult year or so and is now part of history.

Thought he played well on Monday against West Ham too, so it wasn't surprising that he did well today as well. Even taking away what he did footballing wise, simply by being on the pitch with his "aura" and experience in lack of better words really helped us today.

He's got great nous in these big games that helps me so can only imagine what it does for his teammates and what a time to regain his set-piece prowess.

Thought we should have sold him some time back, but today I'm really happy he stayed to win a trophy with us. On top of that he really helped us win today aswell. Based on this game alone, it was worth the keep for me. Well done.

Same as that. Thought Diaz would be too quick for him and cause havoc but Trippier dominated him, was just too clever. Burn, Joelinton,Trippier and Tino were the star performers today imo.

Just watched the match again after getting back from Wembley - he was the one whispering to Bruno on the way up the stair to get Jamal up, and he did it again just before the lift.

That first half performance was something out of a technical manual. It was close to being flawless.
