Bizzarely enough this popped up in my facey timeline from a Toon Fans page. 

If you look closely, all you fucking Gok Wans, the boy Barnes is sporting a very very similar garb. 

I'm a short, fat, balding 61 Yr old with yellow teeth so there's only one look I can pull off and I'm a happy Compo. 

 

As I say, look very closely at modern fashion 😉

Even Bruno looks to him for guidance as you can see after we won the cup final.

 

The flip side of that is that he's been massively out of sorts this year and last over his family situation. Whether his own doing or not, i can synpathise. He's also reaching that age where things will just slow down, but he's far from done yet.

 

Would be happy if he stayed another year.

I thought the main issue with Tripps outfit was the top is about 4 sizes too big?  I've never seen a polo fit like that on anyone

Agree. When it's done it's done. God forbid people get trapped in demoralising relationships. Granted, and this is always the kicker, the separation from the kids will be the crippler. I'm with @Dr Jinx in that Id be more than happy for him to stay. Still a great player.

This looks way better though, because the design of it actually matches his complexion and compliments his face as well as actually fitting him.  The issue with Tripper's outfit isn't so much the outfit itself, it would probably look good on someone, but there's clearly been zero thought put into whether it would look good on him.
