I don’t think he likes Burn playing on the left as he tends to wonder all over the place. Admittedly he was poor today with them silly mistakes.
Obviously the 4 of Livramento, Thiaw, Botman, Hall seems to be the best combination so far.

Typical of our fans to turn on one of our best players this season for a poor error when he was being dragged all over the shop.

Was awful against Brighton and West ham as well...

That four hasn’t ever played together so it’s hard to state that with certainty

Pretty sure he expected his keeper to come out for the 3rd. Seems Ramsdale not that kind of keeper though.

Also think the equaliser was more on Pope as he came out when it was risky and didn’t touch it.

I'd stick with Botman. He’s the future and good enough for the present.

You should rewatch the 3rd goal. 100% on Botman, he wasn't even paying attention to where the ball was after Thiaw made the tackle. In no way should he expect Ramsdale to sweep that, even if Ramsdale could accelerate 3x faster than 2009 Usain Bolt he could not realistically have swept that.

I just realize we have conceded 8 goals for our last 4 league matches.

And, we have been signing praises for Thiaw, arguably our player of the season so far.

Man. Burn should be back to CB and Botman should be benched. I do feel like we have been starting Botman no matter what to please him and pursuade him a new contract.

Don’t think Burn has been that bad at all at LB in all these recent games overall. He is very much a makeshift LB, and he was put there understandably considering the injury situation. I did think we could play Tripps at LB and Krafth at RB but considering Burn’s form it is probably our best option. Him struggling with fast tricky RW has much to do with lack of support from midfield and LW imo

They did in a dream I had, we beat Man City 8-0, Andreas Anderson & Paul Kitson both got hatricks. Frank Sinatra played a blinder in goal.  O0

Awful? Not for me.

A centre back will always look worse when he's being exposed by the midfield, even then he wasn't that bad.

Against Brighton he was constantly suspect to the ball coming in behind him, same as West Ham. For me last 3 away games teams have placed on him probably due to his lack of pace. I agree midfield give zero protection.

Our CBs are having too much work to do because our midfield and fullbacks are not doing their jobs

Said this yesterday on the group chat. Our ball retention is pathetic. Must be up there with the worst in the league. Our midfield lose possession time and time again, and when you add that one of their strengths used to be how quickly they could win it back, which they aren't doing now, and also how easy they are for the opposition to play through, then it's a recipe for disaster.

No matter how good a centre half you are, you need protection in front of you, and our CBs get very little.

The opposition have wised up, box BDB or Joelinton in and watch them inevitably hoof it to one of their players.

Think he’s been one of our best few players so far this season. Centre back is not where our problems are. Four good players to pick from - Thiaw looks a excellent signing.

Burn much better at CB.
