No way he wants to go to Saudi with World Cup coming up. Maintain that 2026 we'll cash in big for him but it's all about enjoying him till then because he's such a don.

Right at the final whistle he came over to fans ahead of everyone else and was pointing at fans and at himself, and saying something, anyone catch precisely what he was conveying? Assume something to do with in it together etc

Ya, would revolt if the club ever sold this human being. FInd it hard to put into words how amazing of a player and guy this is that he lays it all out there every single week for us the fans, for his teammates, his club, his family, etc.

Hits home when you're a father yourself too - his relationship with his dad and his boys. Can only hope my son feels that way about me in 20 years.

He’s above Shearer in my all time fave players now like. Shearer was a cold goal scoring robot. Bruno wears his heart on his sleeve, won us a trophy and never shuts up about how much he loves the club and he’s from thousands of miles away.

He’s said privately that he sees himself being here for at least another 4 years. Things can change quickly but he’s very settled. It was the same last summer, any move would have been club driven PSR nonsense.

It’s quite ridiculous what PSR can do.

I did find his wording in his recent interview about a move which is good for the club interesting. I have no doubt he would be more than happy to stay a few more years, but, I also think that if the club did get an offer, which is too good to turn down, he also accepts that he will then move. Last summer I am still of the opinion that the club were expecting his release clause to be activated, and that when it wasn't, we then saw panic stations happen.

Likewise.  And if our overlords and masters want him for one of their home nation clubs, I suspect we’ll agree to the (overinflated) fee, too

Bruno’s fantastic, a top gadgie and happily sits in my favourite NUFC XI.  But footballers aren’t something to become too emotionally attached to - they all leave.

Also that video was absolutely amazing. It showed that through his parents and friends (him looking after his friends and vice versa was great to see), he was raised in a very loving and caring environment. We all know what a special person he is and that video illustrated totally the reasons why. He's not on the pitch though which is great to see.

But would Bruno actually leave if we didn’t have the need to sell him? If Barcelona or Real Madrid don’t come in for him then he wouldn’t leave
