He's not even shite at fullback, it's just that isn't one. He nigh on always plays well as someone who's incredibly ill suited to the position, if that makes sense.

Pretty much useless whenever he passes the halfway line and tries to attack from the left. Just look at the shot attempt he had for instance. It has been a big handicap offensively, and the difference on how we progressed with the ball on the left was obvious when Hall came on. You can't ever expect Burn to beat a single man with the ball in his feet. That's pretty damn bad for a PL left back, of any side.

Yeah, Hall is a left back, Burn isn't, which is why he is and plays like our 3rd choice left back. Not gonna dig him out on that basis, I wouldn't expect our 3rd choice left back to be Maldini.

I think he's underrated on the ball at full back tbh, he does overlap as well, but Hall and Livramento are lightyears ahead of him, and most of the league

I'd imagine that Schar at right back would be similar. I mean sure, he can use his strength and pull off some decent short passes, but that's about it. That's a pretty low standard.

It depends what you mean by "not even shite". I mean, I'm sure all our CBs can be "not shite" in the same way at fullback if they were forced to play there, except Lascelles.

I always think he's a lot more confident on the ball further forward, where there's less risk if he loses it.

Playing out from the back I feel if he does anything other than the simple, obvious pass he struggles a bit and tends to give the ball away a lot trying to pass into midfield.

Without checking, I’d reckon he’s scored more goals from FB than Livramento and Hall combined for NUFC.

From open play or set pieces? I guess he can get into the box for a header from open play, but I can't remember it happening. I do remember that cup goal from 2-3 years ago, though. 4-0 vs Leicester I believe.

Not shite as in he knows how to play there, doesn't really put a foot wrong on the ball, tries hard to do what he's supposed to do, but is really badly suited to the position due to his lack of agility, pace, and attacking nous.
