Anyone tripping over their feet to say he's disregarding the common man and mental health etc must be completely thick or have an agenda against him. No agenda. Never had a tattoo, this is the closest i've ever got to it (him and his header) I have an agenda against him playing LB. That I cannot deny.

What have the kids in Gaza got to do with you? Because the people who love this guy are actually struggling. The point is that one man's stress can be seen as another man's privilege. I would absolutely love Dan Burns life, but it doesnt make his mental health issues not real. You can be a multi billionaire and absolutely hate yourself and want to commit suicide. Why is that less important than someone who is on the breadline who feels the same?

But I'd never ask someone to understand this, especially someone on the bones. Thankfully, no one cares about my life.

He's a thoroughly likeable guy but when Eddie plays him at LB, I dislike both of them
Dokko
End of the day, it's hit me, someone not in a bad position, but mentally, actually, surviving, so I really do get it. I just think this is the wrong comments from him, after everything he's done for MH, I just thought more care in his projection....the big fucking legend. Kid Icarus
When you lot go to the doctors with the flu should they tell you to fuck off because there are people who have cancer? A better example would be if someone with depression went into the doctors and the doctor told them to fuck off because they were rich or the job they had done. What an absolute tone deaf cunt you are.

Sorry but I have no idea what you're on about, I'm replying to some daft post about how working in a proper job somehow invalidates other types of stress or pressure. I'm asking if you're gone in the head because you read an analogy as me apparently 'using cancer to win an argument'. Hope your MH improves, but at the same time you're not the only one, absolutely nee need for the name calling.

Love his open and honesty about it, especially as a 20 something on the verge. Just think he's shooting here from a very privilaged position, and should at least acknowledge that when discussing this season. It's fucking football. It's bollocks to reality. Dokko, you're one of my favourite posters. Mostly agreed on this, but I think that the escape from reality doesn't quite work for footballers whose reality is playing football to a top standard. I'm pleased he has spoken out and a lot of what he's said often goes unsaid. I'm sure/or at least think you would be too. Personally I don't think it requires caveats to include everyone because it's his own personal experience. And yes, he's also a fairly dreadful left back of which I cannot deny, however much I like him as a human being.
