We paid £12m and he’s barely played since. We’d be lucky to get half back as he’s 29 in September.

I like him as a player (or I think I do - it's so long ago it's hard to remember), but we'd be taking the mick to expect much more than £5m for him given the past 2 seasons. It's a real pity.

Personal circumstances aside, it’s been a horror show since we made his move permanent. Such a shame as he looked really positive in his loan spell. Biggest drop off since Kenedy.
