Paullow
Their front line does look decent to be fair. Diallo cost Man Utd 25m (rising to 40m) only 2 years ago. Stewart, while not many Championship games, obviously is highly rated. Roberts was seen as a big prospect a few years ago while at City, and even Pritchard (who's not playing) commanded an 8 figure fee not too long ago. Probably not the most depth in the world, but they do have a few fairly good players, hence why they are in the top half with one of the better GDs in the league. Aye, was going to mention him as well, bit didn't want to name half of their team They seem a young side as well, which probably bodes well. Paullow
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/64103273 The stats make it look pretty even, but Sunderland have definitely looked the better side in the first half.
Stifler
Boro are weird because they should have a large fan base, but circumstances mean they don’t. They should in reality be the default team in Teesside, but the geography of Teesside makes it difficult. To the North they have Hartlepool which obviously takes away the support from Hartlepool, but also Peterlee and those in Easington/Seaham who don’t wish to support Sunderland. Places like Darlington, Newton Aycliffe etc are all too far away. Stockton itself is separated by the A19 now, making a physical barrier between the places. It is said that Stockton is weird in support. Some like Boro, some don’t, and the desire to have their own identity gives a reluctance to support them. Boro itself is actually fairly small. You have places further out like Nuneaton, and Redcar which people assume is all part of Boro, but some people who live there have their own assumptions. TLDR: Boro should be bigger than they are, but aren’t because of how fragmented Teesside is. Edited January 23, 2023 by Stifler

So Man U can afford to spunk £25m plus on an 18 year old starlet and loan him out for years and STILL their fans complain

Billy Warthog
The mackems should be well in front to be fair. Boro need to come out fighting from the off next half.

Bimpy474
It's a red as he didn't make any attempt to play the ball, goalscoring opportunity denied, as red as you get that unfortunately. I think just outside though.
