They're buzzing about that new lad they've just signed, looks like he's not played a senior game of football yet and he's 21

At least its not the same old cloggers looking for their last pay day. Might work out, might not, if he's not had much exposure the unknown means its a punt, but its probably a low danger one price wise.

Impossible to criticise/compliment any signing they make these days as I can honestly say I've not heard of the last dozen players they've signed. No idea if it's good or bad, no idea of how or where they play or any track record whatsoever. Might be class, more likely to be very underwhelming though. Happy to let them just crack on with it though, they seem to be absolutely delighted with how things are going so fair enough I suppose ???

Mackems writing to Look North to complain about the Magedia’s biased coverage as old as Look North itself.

Bet the mad cunts write in green ink, too

Funny as fuck when they celebrate any of the 'top 6' winning with comments of 'mag tears'. They're totally bricking it this season. Fully expecting another 80 plus page match thread tomorrow

Not long back from Benidorm and seen an American/Canadian sounding  comedian called Pablo Bloom. Some of you may have seen him. He tried to involve many areas of the UK in his show and we arrived mid show one night when he was asking some mackem where they were from and in the reply it somehow came up that it was on the river Wear (We-a). Pablo must have annoyed them greatly by telling them he'd heard of the Wear but always thought is was Tyne and Wear but the pronunciation was wear (as in to wear clothes). He followed that by singing fog on the Tyne followed by Blaydon Races while they no doubt sat there fuming.

What an idiot, he doesn't even know that our Look North programme does not come from 'Yorkshire/Leeds', but comes from the BBCs Newcastle Studios.

Or, perhaps he does !!!

Seeing the Yorkshire Look North is weird because all the brandling, style, music, name etc is the same but with strangely unfamiliar scenes and presenters, it's like seeing TV from Shelbyville.

Thread owa there about new flags. One of them wants a Yemen surfer.

RTG is exactly the sort of community that would go the same way that Northern Ireland has with its ever more tenuously linked flags.

That letter is absolutely hilarious.

Top lip quivering as if she was about to growl....

The inferiority complex around that clubs supporters is incredible, they look for anything to re-enforce it and while at the same time reminding themselves that they are universally loved and respected throughout football.

Imagine being fragile and paranoid enough to get that butthurt over the commentary on highlights of a game man. Forget emotional maturity, some of their fans are actual lunatics.

There's an exchange on that thread where a Boro fan accuses them of treating the match on Sunday like it's their cup final.

Cue a wave of mackems taking umbrage at the arrogance yet completely forgetting that when they were in League One the overwhelming consensus was that they were everyone's cup final

Both Jeff Brown on BBC and Simon O'Rourke on ITV are big Sunderland fans aren't they? How much influence over the local sports media do they actually want? Never understood their obsession with Dawn Thewlis at all and I've seen nothing to convince me of any bias towards NUFC. It's just weird.

Its basically any sports journalist or reporter that doesn't kiss their arse and call them the best team in the world is branded a 'mag' isn't it??

Keith Downie was getting it from them a week or so ago on Twitter.
