Gordon (Mag) Armstrong's header in a Quarter-Final - good to see their level of iconic moments is in keeping with their level of iconic players.

Yeah, some are classics.  It’s that sad realisation that they’ve got nowt and had nowt for decades - Sewpa Kev and Defoe can’t be used because they now hate them.  The likes of Raich Carter are bone fide greats - but we’re going back 80 years.

Why even go down that rabbit hole?

They're still behind the likes of Old Etonians and level with Oxford University and the Royal Engineers when it comes to FA Cup Finals. Granted that was before Wembley but since they like their history going back to before we were yet formed it's worth pointing out.

In terms of Wembley itself, even if we take out the Spurs away game and Football League Centenary tournament, this will be our 11th visit. These consist of 9 major cup finals, 1 Charity Shield and 1 Semi Final.

They've been there 11 times in total and consist of 5 major cup finals, 2 second tier Play-Off Finals, 2 third tier Play-Off Finals, 2 EFL Trophy Finals.

4 of their visits have literally been at a level where our first team has never been eligible to compete at. Might as well compare us to Whitley Bay and Bishop Auckland because of their success in the Amateur Cup and FA Vase down there.

The lack of self-awareness is amazing.

Wonder if any of the Mackems have twigged the LGBT flag permanently in the East Stand at SJP.

Naturally that thread about their new flags turns into a discussion about how they should start targeting us like Boro and Palace did. Truly pathetic fanbase they have.

Woh how would we cope if these hicks started targeting us, illusions of their own importance for a change.

"The amount of mags crawling out the woodwork for wembley tickets"

Remember when sunderland got to the league 1 playoff final the second time. The whole of that season their average attendance was 30k yet they took nearly 50k to Wembley? 20k magically appeared from somewhere?

Self-awareness is zero on wearside.

‘Let’s call out the bigotry of their owners.  That would send a message about our moral superiority.

Hang on, what about the swathes of bigots we have? Shit, best rethink that.  Luckily that was a whole sentence ago, I’m sure no-one will notice’

Wonder if they play Manchester City soon there'll be suggestions such as this, given the classy marras all deeply care about hewmin rights. Since 7th October 2021 anyway.

But nah, there won't be. It's because it's us and always will be.

Certainly more than the first time they got there. When they couldn’t sell all of their tickets.

Aye who can forget the swathes of empty seats against Charlton.

Remember their owner Charlie Methven ripping right into them when it became apparent they were going to have to return 6k tickets through lack of interest, reminiscent of an old chairman of theirs, Tom Cowies rant when he said he wished they had Newcastle's support!

Completely outnumbered and outsung by Charlton that day. Not one of the MLFs proudest showings.

The only year they’ve made themselves heard at Wembley is when they played little old Wycombe. Remember years ago at OT when they played Millwall in the semi final they were out sung by about 12000 Wall that day it was pitiful.

Outsung by Portsmouth at Wembley as well I recall. Their excuse for that one was that they were all hungover for the match after their night at Trafalger Square but the Pompey fans had kept themselves fresh [emoji38]

National radio's brief report failed to convey they were the new Entertainers. "Poor game" and "Sunderland are struggling to get into it"  was mentioned though. The only logical explanation must be this is the work of the Magedia again.

Imagine how great a team Millwall must be though to be ahead of the mackems having played less games.
