Aye, They're only opening the South Stand (right of camera) and the East Stand (facing camera)

If they had anything about them, they'd sell the bottom sections of the stands first.

So one stand behind a goal will be empty? Jesus.

Chances are the stand behind the goal at the other end will be 75% empty as well. Let's be honest, they're not even going to sell out 2 stands.

Maybe it’s a logistics thing but having the two stands behind each goal open is surely better?

Or as @Sima said, just the lower bowl all round.

Now blaming Stoke for the anticipated poor attendance by not agreeing to reduce ticket prices for the FA Cup game

Not sure what they're charging but we're paying £30/£35 v Bromley and it'll be a sell out. Whatever they're charging it'll be nowhere near that.

£20, but they have loads of different concession prices.

Season tickets holders get a ticket for £15.

If you are season ticket holder, or member, you get a loyalty point.

Curb Your Enthusiasm Ok GIF

Absolutely mental stuff 😂

I mean, Man Utd paid about £30m for him and he'd already played (and scored) in European games for them, but no what he really needed was nine months working with Tony Mowbray and asking the fans to stop signing racist songs about him 👍🏻

So pretty much half the price of ours and they'll have about a quarter of our crowd number. Can't wait for the long list of excuses we can look forward to hearing.

"SGM doesn't promote Sam Fender.

Although he is from North Tyneside, Sam Fender promotes a trend we might describe as "the geordification" of the North East, which defines the region and its identity purely around Newcastle and then makes NUFC an integral part of it, alienating and excluding Sunderland.

Yesterday, I saw a photo of someone from South Shields wearing a 1995 NUFC shirt and bemoaning that "wor Sam" had cancelled his concert, the person has no interest in football, yet has seemingly bought into the idea that "this is what we have to do, to see him as geordies". This got me thinking that Fender is actively promoting a "regional belonging" associated directly with the club, and is appealing to the third party towns, particularly young people.

Geordification generally takes popular figures, music and entertainers and reappropriates them as part of the NUFC mythology, thus pitting them into the "us vs. them" dynamic between Newcastle and Sunderland fans. It also becomes problematic when southerners, not understanding this, continue to use "Geordie" to define the whole region.

This is a trend that began in the 1990s with John Hall and his "Geordie Nation" rhetoric. Before this, the term "Geordie" was not really controversial in Sunderland at all and nor was it antagonistic. There are still stories of "Sunderland Geordies" chants in the 1980s at Roker Park, although happy to be corrected on that.

The Geordification of the North East is a stumbling block to regional unity, and it has been a key driver in promoting "Mackem" culture in response. Publications such as "the Mackem Dictionary" and "the Mackem cewkbook" are amongst the most successful cultural items used to reassert local identity and indirectly resist a "NUFC centric" narrative of North East England and its culture."

Also in the last day, they have had to defend their racism.

We don't owe anyone any apology for our reporting on infections people have derived after using certain barber shops, and to accuse these people of simply making it up when they or their children have experienced some of the horrific things shown in those photos is very, very bad faith.

This isn't about race. Everyone is entitled to have a trade and earn a living, but the issues reported to be caused by these institutions are not only widely and meticulously documented nationwide, but are supported by health professionals and reported in most news sources.

As we have stated multiple times clearly there is a demand for such services, and there is nothing wrong with that, they're popular for a reason. All that is being asked is that care and consideration is taken.

Just another Facebook group trying to portray themselves as news.

It's just mad over on SGM. Becca is astounded that businesses are money making schemes, who knew. And Jon is so incensed he writes in capital letters to show how strongly he feels about it all.

Take a deep breath before reading Becca's post, not a comma or full stop to be had.

They hate/love the 'racist card'? on there.

Probably because they think everyone owns one except them. Everyone is using them or throwing them apparently. Really pisses them off. 😆

Fucking 2 Tier Policing.

Same 2 Tier Policing that shows that some poor cunt who'll get swilled in Cosy Joes this weekend doesn't get the same justice that Farage has had after he cried his eyes out.

Same 2 Tier Policing that hasn't seen a single arrested farmer for them blocking the roads last week, whereas some JSO members got 5 years just for talking about a planned protest.

Soz for the tangent.
