Fair fucks to them.  Look like they're getting Europe and they've outed a fair few Newcastle fans who pretended that it was only sunlun fans that were concerned about how they did in comparison to their rivals

I care more about them than us

Six easy points. For them.

Anyone wanting them up before the start of this season deserves to be chucked in the Sarlaac Pit and digested for 1000 years.

Anyone wanting good for Sunderland isn't a Newcastle fan. Simple as that.

Have they ever been in Europe? Europa League will be a bit much for them tbh

Folk said the same about the Premier League.  All the good teams and a lot of not so good ones are channeled into the Champions League now, they would give the Europa a run I reckon.  Other than the fatigue and injuries of course

Sure it was a cope more than anything, would happily never have another derby again

Fair fucks to them. To be honest I'd rather them get Europa League than Conference League cause they'd probably win that whereas there'll hopefully be some competent teams in the EL to stop them

Conference is pretty much a trophy for the prem side, Europa League is between the prem sides in it now

I mean there are actual good teams in UEL. UECL they might go top8. But no chance in UEL.

A team that finishes 7h in the prem can win the UEL like, they'll probably hold on to all their players, and strengthen

They took a point off Aston Villa who have just won it, and were a 93rd minute winner away from taking two points.  They're not that far off like

Really? Forest, Braga and Frieburg were in the last 4 this year. All shite. Frieburg got to the final and were bloody dreadful!

Every chance they win it next season if they keep this team and add to it.

These cunts qualifying for Europe would be just the perfect end to a fucking miserable season. :anguish:

Only hope is a piss poor, gutless Chelsea team doing something second half. Nee chance.

They don't really have like an Isak/Rice type player carrying them, or being sought after by major clubs. I can see them keeping all the players they want

On the plus side, they have to contend with Europe AND second season syndrome...

Big part of second season syndrome is losing your better players when you do well

If Liverpool win and Villa don't get back into their match vs City, Bournemouth won't even be in it, so it will be up to Palace on Wednesday to ensure there are 2 Prem sides in it next year.

They will be one of the favourites for sure. Less chance than the conference, obviously, but still a reasonable chance they win it. Forest got to the semi's this year, Man U and Spurs final last year, all bottom 6 in the PL in their respective season.

Yeah that's the tough bit. The games and the fatigue will be rough depending on how much they can reinforce, but I can't imagine they're going to really fear anybody in either of the shit tier uefa competitions

Or your better players lose form, get worked out. Etc. Etc.

Bet they would be title contenders if they went for prem proven players like Andy Howe and the lads instead of unknown Africans this past summer. Opportunity missed really.

Yeah, but they'll probably have better players than their current best players next season. They're just a good squad without any real stand out stars
