Ketsbaia
Wouldn't want them anywhere near this league. Partly because it'd mean writing about them for work. But also because they are pure vermin.
Scoot
Absolutely no chance I want them getting promoted. I hope they lose every game and vanish off the face of the planet.

As much as I hate United, I hope they stay shit and linger around the bottom half of the table for good, I wouldn't want them to get relegated because it's great twatting the cunts. Newcastle v Sunderland are always spicy games, As a neutral I'd love to see them go up to have this game back on the fixture list. I’m honestly not arsed. As someone else has said, on derby day anything can happen, so even though we should beat them, it’s not a guarantee, especially if our fixture against them falls after a big European night. In the grand scheme of things we are doing separate things though. Next season our aims should be a top 4 finish, and to see how far into a title race we can get ourselves, as well as a decent go at the cups. Their season will all be about trying to stay up, and the 2 games against us.

Kilcline
Let's not also forget to mention the only reason a SMB knows the players liked it is because they've been looking at it themselves

Guybrush
Honestly, aye I'd have them back in the Premier League. They will always be rivals, and always should be, but... 1) I'm not remotely threatened by them at all . I don't think about them, I don't know any of their players, and they're so far from where we are they're irrelevant. 2) Derby days are class. The last one was a bit of a damp squib. Much rather have something more equitable that has all our equine friends running for their lives. 3) The North East is far too tribal. We're already the forgotten region, both economically and politically, so if more money pours into the area from having another Premier League team, then I can only see that as a positive. KennyUtd
I've taken some time to ponder this question and I've come to the conclusion that I want to see them flounder in the Championship for ever, if not longer. 😆 They're a toxic, poisonous fan base that deserves fuck all. Apart from comedy value, they'd offer nothing to the Premier League and, even though I think we'd hump them regularly, I'd still be a wreck the week of the derby. Nobody needs that man. Elric
Creased at the mental image of them sat in vigil over any posts relating to us, like they're guarding some statue in Seaburn, checking to see if any of the 'lads' have liked any of them Fucking sad cunts. KennyUtd
There's a thread about "mixed marriages" that's a real eye opener. Loads of them married to Mags but don't talk about football and can't wait to tell their kids that they support a team owned by a murderous regime. 1 even offered his father in law out on Christmas Day because he was teasing his grandson. Some top parenting going on in Sunderland. I mean, we might be just 10 miles apart but we aren't the same. Not at all.

Holloway
Hope they come up meself, for the south Tyneside mackems that I know that follow them all over, they aren't quite so bitter as the Weyarsiide fuckers. And we can contribute to sending them right back down, happy days

Neither of them are anything like the RTG’s. Fair enough the lad who I work with has lost much of his interest in football, and the lad from uni you can’t have a reasonable discussion if we are mentioned, but generally they are decent, and more level headed. Sunderland as a place has it’s social problems, the Brexit vote was a big indicator nationwide of this. I honestly believe that those who have an irrational hatred of us, do so for the same reason why they voted Brexit, and vote for the likes of Reform in large numbers, as well as their protests/riots. Hating us is an outlet. It’s hard to believe that 10-15 years ago we were both coming together for the lads who died in the plane crash, and the young kid who had cancer. This is all a load of garbage with due respect. Beating them now should just be a forgone conclusion. Losing to them and we'd never live it down. It would make their season/decade/lifetimes. To summarise the gains don't come close to what the losses would be. Just let them fester where they are.
