Dr.Spaceman
Chris Basham is my guess.

Possibly more likely to be a young player. What a fun little game Paully has started.
Guest
Actually, could be Rigg signing a professional contract with Sunderland. Paully with his Hebburn links and being "shocked but understands", after it looking like we'd sign him. MrRaspberryJam
Won't be Dummett.

The Butcher
Rigg will come when he's good and ready.
Wandy
It will be Rigg. Not that surprised he hasn't come here because he'd be miles off a starting place. We could have bought him and loaned him out though.

Gallowgate Toon
They're clearly currently very committed to promoting youth and did a good job of it last season. It's a good place for him to develop at the mo as he's already close to the first team. He's not even going to be 20 for a few years yet
ponsaelius
It's a sensible move from him at that age.

Much closer to playing for the ‘actual team’ there, and staying (for now) with the club who has developed him deserves some kudos for loyalty. Hope he does well. Thomson Mouse
He’ll get far more first team opportunities there and if he progresses will be in a far better position to demand a better package if he moves
Sima
Makes perfect sense for Rigg. He's comfortable there, he'll get plenty of opportunities and they play a decent brand of football.

Whether he's taken a pragmatic approach (more first team opportunities) or an emotional one (I'm happy here, I feel valued) he's made the right call. Guest
Good on him. Good starting point for him. Will be amazed if he plays more than 50 games for them though.
et tu brute
Most important part is the here and now and getting the first team squad built to a high standard and depth throughout. The whole academy structure has been ripped up and a very high standard of quality coaches/scouts recruited. Probably take a year or two, but the academy will no doubt be producing high quality youngsters on a very regular basis.
