Accounts also show over £100k spent on empty crisp packets and carrier bags for pre/during/post match entertainment.

Circular economy marra, they’ll be using them as part of the next big display along with silver foil from the summer BBQs.

I reckon we should start singing The Lambton Worm just for the reaction.

I took a copy of the book (illustrations with the song) into my kid's kindergarten class back in 2014 for cultural education. It was only while singing/reading that I realized this really wasn't appropriate anymore, especially with half the class being Muslim. Not a good look with what's going on in Gaza today either. Thankfully they were 5 and 6 and so the Jammy Dodgers went down a treat and covered up the colossal fuck up.

Wonder if the penny has dropped yet that "40,000" ounces isn't as much as 30-36,000 lbs.

The generous pity donations from NUFC will show up on next years accounts. Should reduce their customary losses a bit. Look forward to it being mentioned.

Check the accounts - I worked it out as gate receipts of £10.7m / average attendance x 23 home games plus Fulham in the cup and Luton

in the playoffs (975,931 through the turnstiles). Gets you to £10.96 a ticket.

By comparison:

NUFC gate receipts for 22/23 were £37914000. Folk through turnstiles was:

52127 x 19 = 990,413

Friendlies - 122,408

League Cup - 207,223

Total - 1,320,044

£37.914 / 1,320,044 = £28.72 a ticket

Includes the heavily discounted pre season double header and Rayo Vallecano post WC game, plus four LC games.

Had a quick scan over their accounts:

- Made about as much from conferencing, banqueting and catering, (plus the three concerts) as they did getting 975,931 people through the gates for 25 games.

- Somehow value the Carbuncle of Shite at £90m+
- 58% increase in wages between seasons

- Huge increase in money owed to Richie Rich and SarTory (£12m->£18m)

- £5m for 5G - half the cunts in the ground still use pigeon or BT phone cards at a push

- “Gone woke” with a solar farm at their Academy

What do you mean by £5million for 5G?

Aah right it’s how much they (with government support) will have to spend to bring it up to 5G

I thought at first that’s what they were claiming they’d get from the mobile networks for hosting 5G equipment?

in reality they’d be lucky to get more than 1/4 million per year for that but this is the team that gets 40,000 “attending” every game?

As for being “one of the first clubs to provide 5G connectivity in the stadium” I’ve been to dozens of clubs where there’s 5G installed

I was at MK Dons stadium in Milton Keynes 2 years ago looking at theirs ?

Their team is fucking shit

They have no manager

There’s a billion empty crisp packets on the pitch

The fans hate the club

The stadium is tired and dated

The Black Cat Bar has NUFC stickers and graffiti

The stadium is powered by a generator

Back shift at Nissan is more appealing than the match

They have thousands of empty seats every game

They’re skint and rely on loan players

So they’re wasting £5,000,000 on 5G to “transform the match day experience”

Funny Face Lol GIF
