You've already heard Eddie say it's less than perfect, but probably something we feel we have to do to make up ground where we can. I flew from Newcastle back to Melbourne on Friday and I'm still absolutely wiped out. Was supposed to be at work at 7am today and didn't wake up til 12. I can't even fathom playing a professional football match so soon after a long trip. I'll be going to both matches so hopefully the lads aren't too fucked. Eveready Posted May 20 Share Posted May 20 Really hoping the players that started on the weekend only make a late cameo appearance at most on Wednesday. 65 hours between finishing the Brentford game and the kick off for this. Over 20 of which will be spent in a plane causing dehydration, lower oxygen saturation and where they won't be able to perform any active recovery. Sounds a like a recipe for muscle injuries.
