UncleBuzzcocks
Be surprised if there’s 10,000 of us there. Starts 15 minutes after most people finish work an hour and a half away on an already expensive train, to rock up and pay daft prices for a pointless friendly. Fuck that. Train tickets are as low as £20 each way, and were as low as £14 earlier today. Much is being made of the ticket prices right now, but only a small selection of tickets have been put on sale so far, and none of the upper tier (which I assume will be priced cheaper) is not on sale as of yet. I’m not going to say it will be a sellout because it quite possibly won’t be, but I think we’ll take significantly more than 10,000, especially when fans have the opportunity to start sorting out busses etc.
Danh1
Hate playing teams from the same league pre season. Pathetic.
Benwell Lad Posted Friday at 08:56 Share Posted Friday at 08:56 Possibly the shittest pre season friendly ever for a whole bunch of reasons.

Paully Posted Friday at 09:35 Share Posted Friday at 09:35 I literally don’t know anyone going - shambles! Be less than 10K there hopefully! Those prices are a disgrace!
AyeDubbleYoo Posted Friday at 09:36 Share Posted Friday at 09:36 Not a bad trip and I quite like friendlies that don't stress the players too much. But the timing and the pricing isn't attractive.
HaydnNUFC Posted Friday at 11:21 Share Posted Friday at 11:21 (edited) Hope it’s boycotted to fuck. Club have been taking the piss about prices for years and so many of our lot just accept it, some even defend it. Liverpool fans have shown what taking a stand about it can achieve. Pilko Posted Friday at 11:25 Share Posted Friday at 11:25 Can see the logic behind why we're doing this kind of "showpiece" for the cash but I'd rather we just did an away trip to a Championship team in the north somewhere, which I'm sure would be preferable for most supporters too.
