Yeah, I reckon they would do. Although I'm fairly sure they'll have options that they'll eventually put out to supporters clubs to get a consensus, so as to avoid having to do that.

People keep saying this but it depends what you like. 

 

Me personally, I don't like old school coat of arms stuff. 

 

Chelseas badge is better than their old one, Man Citys looks cleaner too IMO.

 

I agree that Leeds one is a bit weird.

 

I like our current one but I will probably like any new one. However, I genuinely like most of our kits and I'm in the minority.

One thing I will say about this whole thing is that if THIS badge did not exist and the club came out with this design and told us it was our new badge their would be an almighty outcry about it.

I think this was just trendy at the time though, I’m pretty sure we won’t go for anything as extreme as that this time.

If you look through the current PL badges, most are decent and most have been redesigned quite recently.  The club have indicted a refresh rather than a total departure, so personally I’m optimistic.

But this is actually ok. Not sure about a golden magpie though. The magpie as a symbol for the club should be because it's black and white.

It's awful. It looks like a football manager replacement crest. Something knocked together in 5 minutes in adobe.

 

The over simplification of the logo has led to it becoming puerile and childish.

 

If the badge has to 'simplified' then it should retain a 'seriousness' or intent....And what's with the sand / beige colour seahorses and spots?

Just things you pick up on social media. The same people that sat back and said fuck all about Ashley are twisting at this. I get people not wanting change but that lot can fuck off.

For what it's worth, if it's going to change I'd rather have a big change e.g. those on the previous page. If we're gonna fuck off the current crest, fuck it off properly rather having some simplified Fisher Price version of it.

 

As an aside, I've always thought the 80s one was embarrassing.
