Lush Vlad
Quietly very good today. Little things like coming for some crosses early and the quick throw out to Tino that got us up the pitch for the opening goal. Two smart stops and all. I think it’s a given that he’ll be replaced in the summer. But he was quality today when needed.
David Edgar
Nick NOPE is back. Quietly made a top low down save.
Norseman
Very good today. Made a couple of excellent stops and commanded the air space well.

gbandit
Was better than Sanchez’s, who was appallingly bad. You still backing Chelsea to get CL over us David Edgar?

Holloway
back to being very solid, got down lightning quick for that header
David Edgar
Just now, Ronson333 said: Talking about generally Yeah, it isn't elite but it has been generally solid for ages. He plays the short passes wide now consistently. Clears when he needs to. His throws are absolutely top elite level. We counter quickly from them. I don't think it's a given he'll be replaced, and we'll more likely than not see him as our starting keeper next season.

As it is, he is probably the worst ball playing keeper in the top two leagues!

I mean. I don’t think it’s as much of a position of need as others on here. There are 3-4 areas I would look to strengthen ahead of GK. However, all of the links to Trafford seem pretty heavy and have never gone away. FWIW, all the journos seem to be briefing that we are looking for a keeper. I’ve said it over and over on here. You would gain a lot from a keeper that is better with the ball. But I don’t think it’s as easy as some suggest to match or better what Pope is good at. So you’d more than likely gain in some ways and lose in others.

M1tche
Didn't nearly give me a heart attack at any point today. So, I will take that. Couple of very good saves as well

Pope lost it the fewest times out of anyone who played the full 90. I do find it strange when teams don't press Pope. When he has time his kicking is ok, as it should be tbf. When teams press him it's tragic. I think we do a pretty good job of not giving him it in dangerous positions tbf. The Chelsea coaches spent a full 20 mins with him before the rest of the team came out for the warm up, just practicing playing out from the back
