The family enclosure needs reducing like, it’s mental how big it is

There’s usually spare yoot tickets for  every game so if I was struggling to get tickets I’d definitely set up a snide yoot membership to buy one and just gamble that I wouldn’t get pulled by the the turnstile feds on my way in

You would hope that, of all the various areas within the ground, that stopping random, middle aged men getting amongst the kids would be top of their list.

I'm not convinced that reducing the family enclosure is the way to go, when prices are too expensive for a lot of families to pay for 2-4 tickets in the lower areas of the stadium. Away tickets are already inaccessible to most kids who were born in the last 14-15 years, due to the ID checks they do now.

Making it harder to kids to attend should be the last thing on the clubs agenda. I do get the frustration with the random single 14-17 year old tickets that people aren't able to buy in L7 though.

For context, I sometimes take my 13 year old, so I think getting kids into the match is good. Although we never go in the family enclosure

But I also don't think we need such a huge swathe of the ground specifically for families

And to have families adjacent to to the away fans is just daft. I'd never want my kid to be sat right next to a lairy away end

I looked at their advert about mags plus memberships - am I right that normal members can’t upgrade? Website seems to say that is only allowable for a season ticket holder. I’m not that bothered, but was just looking to see what it was about and seems a bit odd that the upgrade is not available.

You can upgrade for ÂŁ10 when I checked yesterday, it adjusts the price at the checkout if you are logged in

Bet they’re allowed to include the touted ticket profits in their PSR calculations

Sold ticket for ÂŁ70

Resold ticket via Todd’s tout site for £500

Bunce on the Chelsea balance sheet ÂŁ570

Sign an extra 15 players to add to their bloated squad

What’s not to love

Wonder how many degrees of separation between that and the club for their next PSR fiddle

Chelsea or us?

Wouldn’t be surprised if we are doing the same.

Received this from the Trust 👍🏻

Good morning and thank you for your email Chris, it's much appreciated. We all understand the frustrations of members, and we have a board meeting on Monday where we have an agenda item to discuss a forum for NUFC members. We believe it's a great opportunity for members to discuss frustrations and come up with some potential solutions that we can take back to the club. Please do watch this space. Kind regards, Paul Karter

Do members not get a say now then? Aren’t the needs of members considered and represented by the trust now?

I have asked in my reply that the Trust holds an open forum for Trust members to put forward their ideas to the Club.

Hopefully this happens.

I just mean when NUST are consulted, do they only consider the needs of ST holders and not NUFC members as well?

I don’t get involved so I guess I can’t complain, but it would be a shame if ST holding fans get more representation than anyone else.

Ultimately the club are the ones responsible anyway. But if they’re taking NUST as the fans’ voice then it would be interesting if all fans are not thought of equally.

I don’t have any evidence of this by the way, mainly a paranoid suspicion

I'd love them to rethink allowing st holders to purchase a membership.

The only legitimate way to take the bairn was to create a new account to buy a membership to link to my daughters (as advised by the club) so I could apply in ballots with her, which has ultimately fucked me over for the final despite having an ST and attending every home cup game.

I did mention this scenario to them over a year ago and was told they can't answer my concern as they didn't know what the criteria for future final tickets would be.

My email request was specifically in regards to NUFC members and asking for a form of hierarchy and loyalty to be provided moving forwards.

The reply seems to suggest to me that they are speaking to the club specifically in regards to memberships and not ST holders.

I sympathise but almost everyone has to go to the match on their own now. And also have no chance  of a cup final ticket.

Two wrongs don’t make a right, I know.

I can see by your numerous posts how frustrated you are, but a 12 year old going on her own isn't an option for me, I'm not even sure if she can even apply for a ticket on her own.

What my issue is, is that I'm not even allowed to purchase a membership to be afforded the opportunity to join a ballot with her

You seem to have an issue with ST holders having more clout (for want of a better word) but this feels like I'm being penalised for having one.

Edit: comes across more arsey than intended, not having a go... everyone's got their own personal scenarios and want it fixed, but it's never going to be possible.

Yeah, both sides are hard done to, it’s just a fact that people can’t get tickets beside someone they know these days.

Im not sure I’ll bother with membership next season

Yeah assuming that's the issue and why they can't allow me to have a membership, as I'm not sure how it could work other than letting me switch from my usual seats if I won the ballot with her.
