I’m not overly familiar with what happened with the Trust in the instance you’re talking about, but I would say it’s almost certainly different people running it to when that happened, and there’s no question they are the group with the best chance of getting a sympathetic ear from the club. That’s not the information I was given on two occasions - one of which was face to face. I was told there wasn’t enough uptake so they decided not to bother. Exactly. All they can do is ask the question. Just more chance of the club listening if in large enough numbers like with any topic. There’s never a fair way to do all of this, but it does feel like by giving members a point for Celtic because it was the ‘fair’ thing to do, they’ve just created additional problems for themselves in the long run.
