Same. I’m almost priced out now. £72-£75 for a PL match is fucking outrageous. The prices in the Milburn are frankly abhorrent.

£50 for most games, £47 for the "lesser" games IIRC

2024-25 Non Cat A games in Seating category 2 were £47.
 

2023-24 Cat C games in Seating Category 2 were £44.

 

I think the season before (22-23) it was £38.

I’m trying to compare the price change from last seasons tickets I bought. Someone correct me if I’m wrong but looks like 10% family, about 17% cat 2, 22% cat 1? 
 

if that is somewhere near accurate, it is disgusting. Compounded by the fact they do it on the quiet. The ticketing PR was all “look at us season tickets rise by 5% for this product no one can ever buy again” - then they go and just hike up the member prices like Donald Trump with a tariff board and a marker pen.

So an ST in the East Stand pays £940 a season

 

Whereas a member in the East Stand who knows how to get a ticket for every game is paying around £1500

 

And the member gets fuck all recognition from the club for their financial commitment and has the added hassle of ballots, 10am sales and F5’ing to get to a game 

 

Yet in the clubs eyes the ST holder is deserving of priority access to CL, domestic cup and away games because of their “loyalty”‘ whereas the member gets fuck all 

It’s a fucking joke man. They’re treating us like mugs 

 

(am not having a pop at ST holders, it’s the club I want to have ructions with)

Crazy prices. Also what’s the point of having different categories for games when you’re just knocking a few quid off a £58/£75 ticket? As we hit winter, I think we’ll start seeing the end of the crazy demand for tickets we’ve seen over the past few years.

I think given the current way things are going with the general malaise at the club, the take up will not be as great this season baring CL games.

At least it rules out dabbling with any other categories. I think my usual cheeky Leazes corner might be a bit harder to get into as everyone is priced out of the better areas.

These price increases were always going to happen but I'd argue that ST needs massive price hikes as well.
