Just noticed the ballots tab on the left hand side of the account details page, hopefully they're going to start rewarding the loyalist ballot enterers.

You can now see every ballot you've entered and whether a ticket was bought following the ballot entry

 

And it's confirmation that I didn't win a single ballot last season, despite entering every single one

It shows you whether there was a payment transaction linked to the ballot entry and that doesn’t include payment for tickets bought in general sale or resale 

 

Can see here that I won some ballots in 23/24

It's showing all ballots I entered last season with no transactions next to them even though I defo did have a few ballot wins. Showing only the ballots I won from the previous season with transactions. Weird.

Might be the case they haven't added purchases for 24/25 yet. I was pretty sure I didn't win any ballots, so wasn't surprised to see nothing in the £'s column

I've got £0 in columns I won and attended the match.

 

Also I have money in columns for ballots I lost in 23/24.

It has a fee for the Dortmund game 2 seasons ago and a game last season neither that I won

edit - just found it on Twitter. Interesting. If I was a member who was previously a ST holder who lost their points when they gave up their ST, I’d be making a strong case I should get them back….

If you had some loyalty points, but weren’t a season ticket holder, would they actually be usable for anything? I thought aways were all season ticket holders, with x amount of points

It is. So they’ll have to change the criteria to make them of any value.

Out of curiosity Stev how would you put your case to them? Genuine question. I gave my ST up then got it back but obviously that came at the expense of a large points tally. Probably got used to not being able to get away tickets now and therefore lost the habit but I'd love to get them back, as would many others no doubt.

Your best chance is in numbers. Fuck using the trust, they lied to everyone packing in last time. Just find a group of people in a similar situation and put it to the club. I know of a couple who’d be up for it as well, though it is pissing in the wind.

What did they lie about?

The Trust ran a scheme before promising that they’d work with the club to get points back for those who protested during the Ashley era. They then backtracked on it after the takeover.

Well, it would be need to be done through the Trust or another large body that could bring a number of fans in the same situation together. I think trying to do it on your own just gets you fobbed off.

 

The main overriding point should be that loyalty points were taken away as it was said that you needed to own a ST to have/accrue them. Now, by offering members a point for attending Celtic, they’re saying this isn’t the case. 
 

You’re probably going to have a situation where there’s someone who used to have X points in the past, which they lost when giving up their ST, now being allowed to have/accrue points again, even though they haven’t got their ST back. It doesn’t make sense.

 

All that said, I’m unsure how far back they’ll have stuff recorded on the system? I know some people can still see the points they used to have on their account, but may not be the case for everyone.
