TBG
We know that a lot of our fans are struggling to put food on the table, but come on guy. Stop illegally streaming our matches. Why not instead come along and give us €80 to watch us in person so we can give millionaires such as Ronaldo €500,000 per week whilst the club still makes huge profits. Come on guys you are killing us.

Froggy
I pay £93 a month just for Sky You're paying way too much. Time to call and threaten to leave. You'll be able to get it way down.
Wullie
Can confirm. You've got to ring up every year and renegotiate or they'll rinse you. You can buy a Now TV pass for the entire Sky football season for £200.

That's for everything Sky Q, multi room and all the sports and movies, broadband, phone ect, but then if you add BT sport and Amazon it must be well over £100 a month
Rompe
The Premier League Youtube channel is absolutely amazing. They've got the best goals of every season, along with the best goals for each team since the PL started. 23 minutes of our best goals, it's incredible. Doctor Zaius
Can confirm. You've got to ring up every year and renegotiate or they'll rinse you. You can buy a Now TV pass for the entire Sky football season for £200. Ring up and say its too expensive/you've lost your job/there's better options wa wa wa and say you're gonna cancel. They'll try and convince you but then just offer you a better one anyway. The guys in the cancellation department are judged on how many people they stop cancelling, so theyll always offer you something. The best way though is to go through and cancel, then they'll ring you up later and offer you something even cheaper to come back. Seen people paying £30 for what others pay £90. Thats how it worked when I was there years ago, bet its not changed much though.
Wullie
Yeah I used to cancel then ring back immediately. The cancellation automatically activates at least 40% off on your account. If it's not enough, leave it a few days, the TV won't go off for 30 days anyway. You have to be a bit more careful with the broadband as OpenReach get involved if you cancel and leave it too long. loki679
Interesting approach from Bristol City, can see them pissing off a few people with this. Bristol City head coach Lee Johnson has told the other 23 clubs in the Championship that his side will not kick the ball out for an injury. The Robins played on when Leeds midfielder Mateusz Klich went down during their game on Sunday. It led to heated scenes on the touchline between the two sides. "Somebody goes down and sometimes it's tactical, because people try and gain an advantage, and sometimes it's genuine," said Johnson. "We just decided as a club that we're going to make a rule for the 46 games that we're going to let the referee manage the game." Johnson, who has written to the other 23 clubs in the division, says his side will observe their policy - whether it is one of their own players who is injured or an opponent. "If the referee sees a head injury he will stop the game but if it's not a head injury he will play on, and our players are coached to play with 10 men in certain environments," he added. "That's what I was trying to explain [to Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa]. Obviously that's not easy with the language barrier but in the cold light of day we were able to sit and talk it through." https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/49251887
