Richard Masters just been on Talksport to say the Premier League are introducing a retrospective rule whereby there's a "cooling off" period of 6 months for ultra high value transfers (over £115m).

If the buying club is unhappy with the purchase they can return the player to the selling club and get a full refund.

Because it's retrospective it'll cover all transfers made since June 2025.

Masters was insistent that it's vital that the rule is implemented in order to keep the league competitive.

Seems a bit of a coincidence that Isak hasn't been playing during the 8 week period in which it's compulsory for the UK population to wear a Poppy.

I'm not sure which side Sweden fell on during World War 2, but it would make actual sense for Isak not to wear the symbol that represents England beating Europe in World War 2 if Sweden was on Europe's side.

That's a joke post, right ??

If not, the bar for ignorant (at so many levels) posting has just been raised significantly.

"England" wasn't fightin Europe and "England" didn't win the war, and remembrance day/poppies pre-dates WW2 and apart from the Sweden quible, you're spot on.
