bobbydazzla Posted October 31, 2025 Share Posted October 31, 2025 (edited) Richard Masters just been on Talksport to say the Premier League are introducing a retrospective rule whereby there's a "cooling off" period of 6 months for ultra high value transfers (over £115m). If the buying club is unhappy with the purchase they can return the player to the selling club and get a full refund. Because it's retrospective it'll cover all transfers made since June 2025. Masters was insistent that it's vital that the rule is implemented in order to keep the league competitive.
