Nobody
He's scored 67 career goals in 12182 minutes, or the equivalent of 135.3 games. Pretty much spot on 1 in 2.
Menace
You guys are really arguing with a man utd supporter about overpaying for a player...
midds
Feel genuine sympathy for anyone willing to engage Froggy in any kind of meaningful conversation about football. Best of luck lads
Cronky
After a very promising start, Isak's career stalled a bit. I understand that it didn't work out at Dortmund, and his last season at Sociedad wasn't great. I think the fee we paid was based on his potential, while other clubs looked at his recent history and decided not to take the risk. Time will tell whether he's a bargain, but I think we got it right. Purely based on his technical skill on the ball, I think he's the best striker in the league. What has surprised me is that other aspects of his game - his pace, strength, finishing, heading, intelligence - are much better than I had dared to hope. I think Eddie is right in saying that he doesn't have a weakness in his game. I gather he's quite a shy character, and that held him back at various points in his career. There's a little bit of a swagger about him now which is good to see.
McDog
6 hours ago, Froggy said: What's funny? Is 1/3 of a season and a few goals against bottom half sides the makings of a £60m player now? What's Lingard worth after that West Ham stint? Settle down fanboy. Hey Froggy, I believe his goal scoring rate right now is ridiculous. That's in your very own Premier League. We'll see long term of course but it doesn't look like a bad buy now.
Dan Gleebals
Isak will trive here, signs are already there IMO.

Super Duper Branko Strupar
Wasn't Isak's minimum fee release clause higher than the 63m we paid?

If we paid minimum fee we would've had to pay VAT on top under Spanish rules.
Mags Serbia
Isak had a release clause of £76m.

rebelrouser
Isak had an average 21/22 after a very good 20/21 is the only reason the price seemed high. Worth it.

KDT
Not that it matters at all but Isak in his career apart from International is a goal every 2.58 games and Martial is a goal every 3.7 games. If we include Martial’s brilliant strike rate of a goal every 15 caps for France it gets even worse.

Martial would have scored 400 in Holland mind.
KDT
Probably wouldn’t even have played 16 games in half a season.

Menace
Considering Nunez/Vlahovic etc went for 80M+, I'd put Isak in that category - I don't think we overpaid at all.

Martial has missed 27 games through injury this year so we signed someone to cover him. We also lost Ronaldo. When Martial is fit, Weghorst won't see the pitch.
