There's so many pages on this - can someone give me the consensus pls, do we think he's most likely just injured, or on the move?

Nobody knows, everyone assuming on the move but not based on anything other than vibes.

Isak is as good as gone.

Things were better under Ashley

Fair comment lads, didnt think of sales. Fuck em.

Truthfully, though, they're a really well run club which generates huge income. We quite simply can't compete with them financially

It's not even that, it doesn't add up. He was spotted running after this so called injury.

If he's injured some transparency would be helpful.

There's running and there's running. Botman and Hall were both  running months before they were allowed near a match practise.

Edit Totally agree on the last bit.

Pablo I know mate I was quite relaxed about it all but now you're giving me mulitple reasons to get completley paranoid about it.

Our owners could be doing loads more. Yes we are stifled by PSR but this learned helplessness (we can’t compete, the rules are against us) is pathetic.

If you want a shred of optimism, long haul flights won’t do a thigh injury any good…

I know I know

Would be funny if this is all it was and everyone was just losing their shit over nothing.

Sadly Howe has added fuel to the fire with his quotes about transfer talk being unsettling for Isak.

I can send you a picture of my cat going to town on his arsehole if that'll settle you?

He's not injured.

His head has been turned.

News of the scan was conveniently released to buy club more time to persuade him to be on the plane for Asia tour.

That didn't work. He's not flying.

Club need to decide very soon to keep an unhappy player and close the door completely or sell.

I agree. We're a bit rudderless. I feel like every summer we're slow to react

But the point is, for all we might do 'something' to lessen the impact of the rules (as opposed to nothing, as you put it (and which I disagree with)), the cartel clubs are still the greatest beneficiaries of the rules. The unfairness still exists regardless.

Take a points hit? Sorry like but it's absolutely deplorable that we should have to consider that whilst those clubs on the other side of the drawbridge continue all but risk-free.

Do something, do nothing, it's still unfair and where the blame should be more-or-less entirely focused.

Chelsea and Man United are both cartel clubs that - while benefitting from them - are still working around the PSR there to benefit them to go above and beyond.

There are plenty of levers we could pull short of taking a points hit to circumvent PSR that we're not pulling, that was just an example of an in-emergency-pull lever.

Selling assets, legal challenges, loopholes?

As we're barely pulling levers to work within PSR and max out - player trading, sponsorships etc, moaning about it is no more an excuse than it is a solution a few years on and with other clubs working around it.

The nearest thing to bemoaning PSR being a solution would be a legal challenge, and we're not doing that either, so even then I would think that you'd want us/PIF to actually do something about the situation considering the power they can wield?

Really is a frightening how much Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal are spending this summer compared to the rest of the league.

The more money there is in the game, the less enjoyable it is as a fan. £100 tickets, shite atmosphere and a league table you can accurately predict before a ball is even kicked due to growing financial disparities.

The fact the last 2 seasons has seen all newly promoted teams relegated should be a massive red flag to where our game is headed.

Club just need to release that barnstorming green away kit today to appease the fans.

Make sure they photoshop a grumpy looking Isak on one of the models, too.
