I’m steadfast that we are not forced to sell him. We literally are not. If the move doesn’t happen he’ll dry his tears and play.

I wonder if he would and what impact that would have on the dressing room.  If reports are true and he's pissed a lot of senior players off, I can't see that happening.

I'd love us just to say 'fuck you' we're keeping you for at least another year and you're training with the reserves.  Like putting a kid on the naughty step to go and think about what they've done.

The reality of modern football is that player power rules, and shithouse tactics like this often work

SSN showing a line up of Liverpool’s team next season featuring Isak - wankers. They’re all desperate for him to move there aren’t they?

Tbh that's one of the reasons we can't sell to them. They would be unstoppable with him in their side. What does that say about our supposed ambition to be #1?

Liverpool is a sh*t hole, it's the only city in the UK where I have been for my work and felt uneasy walking the streets in the evening!!

That's utter shit btw,  I live there, in the city centre and its a brilliant city

That's genuinely ridiculous, but not unsurprising. Bunch of cunts

So there needs to be a watershed moment and if we were a real club (btw we're not a real club) we would make it now and fucking sue the media outlets for tapping our player up.

For me the end of the Entertainer years and basically the end us been competitive, was when we loaned Giuseppe Rossi from Man Utd in 2006, I felt at the time that was us conceding victory to them, this Isak transfer has a very similar feeling. Can we afford to let Liverpool just take him, especially with all the pressure the biased media are putting on to make this transfer happen. I think its blatantly obvious they don't want fair competition in the Premier League.

He’s not the first player to try and force a move. Get told to stay and carry on.

I keep using Kane. He went on strike. Everyone has forgotten. He eventually carried on and had a solid season.  I think Mbappe had similar issues at PSG.  He’s our best player. He’ll apologise. We’ll give him some more money and a written agreement and he’ll be back.

I don't see why we don't. Like the players exist between the whistles and clearly they see/hear this shit. It's a loophole bigger clubs are cynically employing and the only way to stop it is to fuck with their money. A real club would do this.

That motherfucker over at Forest would mail a photo of their house at 3am to them.

so we play last game in Asia tour 12.00 Sunday UK time.

we go back to hotel after, get our bags and stuff, and probably get on a plane back to England Sunday evening. long flight, land in England about Monday morning. pretty sure day off for players jetlag and all that.

but would expect some light training Tuesday afternoon. thats the moment of truth as if Isak is still at Sociedad gym on Tuesday afternoon thats a big sign imo.

will be an uncomfortable meeting imo, eye to eye Isak vs Howe, Isak vs Tindall. also players would ask him whats this all about. pretty sure he didnt want to face these moments thats why he is not on tour with us. he could do gym work in Asia too under supervision from our staff.

if he still does not join the squad and pre season trainings on Tuesday next week that will be a clear indication, and at that moment I would suspend his salary too otherwise other players get the feeling they can go to sunny country and do the pre season on their own too and turn up when they want.

Yeah, say what you want about Marinakis, he knows how to be a populist cunt at least. Wish our owners would be more emphatic about us being the Richest Club In The World.

I take the pure silence from player and club that whatever is happening, there’s clear agreement behind closed doors as neither are throwing a tier one pissy fit like we’ve seen with Wissa and in past with Kane etc.

Whether that’s:

1) Both agree a sale will happen, we’re just trying to line up deals and a sale will happen end of window regardless.

2) Both agree situation that we need two in if he’s to go, if we can’t do that, he comes back as normal and moves next summer.

3) There’s clear issue with his fitness, we’re both not letting it on to the full extent as it disrupts both a potential sale and driving up prices for players we want further

Early next week when we’re back in Newcastle and training daily ahead of a home Sela Cup, I expect this to either be nipped in the bud, or taken to new levels and played out in the media fully. There 100% won’t be no greyness.

this is what I am thinking too with some sort of tentative agreement but also the added concern that Liverpool are delaying putting an actual bid in to try and hamper our transfer activity.

Nevertheless I've worked in all the main uk cities and Liverpool comes bottom of my list for feeling safe, particularly in the city centre!!

Suprised the PIF came into this, are being absolutely shown up right now by Emirati and American rivals. Hopefully they see what this is now and build the infrastructure, the buildings, the board, the football staff, the recruitment. Aside from the team on the pitch who have overachieved in the face of massive injuries and small squads, small budgets, everything else has been dismal since Staveley left. You could feel the change in the months after. Her not being in the ground, the difference in the players, the body language, the wording at conferences. They need to sort it out. Because this is the year we'd be expected to kick on. We've been there once, now we've won a cup and back in. Had time to see where we stood and adapt. Now we're going back and we've added Elanga and Tonali to our squad. Every week I see 'Pool, Manure, City sign 16 year old with 30 goals for Swindon U'21's' or something. We need the investment in Local football. There are players in Newcastle, who love the city. We need to buy the top youth before they cost heavily. Why can't this board do one thing at once, then maybe we can have wheels of people that do multiple things at once. Shambles.
