I’m OK with selling him and brining Sesko and Wissa. Just not to Liverpool.

This ^ we shouldn't be selling to them under any circumstances

Like @Kid Icarus has been saying for the past few weeks, I don't give a shit if Isak plays for us ever again, but I do care about how all of this looks to Sandro.

Boyhood AC Milan fan Sandro Tonali who always dreamed of playing for Milan, yet left them for a big payday?

I’m sure he would never leave out of his love for us :)

The gambling shit doesn't happen we never get near him imo.

I agree, but he still left the club of his dreams - I’m under no illusions he’d leave in a heartbeat for a big club offering more money

Like Isak, I’m happy to enjoy them when they’re here and not get overly moved when they eventually leave

We wouldn’t have £150m profit on a £150m sale next summer.  That isn’t how amortisation works - technically it never reaches zero, but there’d still be over £12m book value left for amortisation.

If we keep Isak and spend £150m, it isn’t -£30m this season - it’s -£43m as Isak is still on the books.

The PL is also looking to end the rolling three year losses in line with UEFA’s rules.

The potential (likely?) move to the UEFA SCR makes a sale in 25/26 less appealing doesn't it? Assuming of course that we can carry the spend from this year through the PSR cycle for 25/26 then we may be drawing a line through this and moving to SCR starting form scratch. We would prefer to have the 3 year spread of the sale starting 26/27.

I think anyway. Of course this is totally redundant if PSR is here to stay and/or we need the sale in 25/26 to be compliant in the current cycle

You’re such a stoic. That’s what I admire about you.

I like the idea of sending him to PSG/Barca or Real on a loan with obligation to buy next season, with a cheeky loan coming the other way to fix CB or CM holes

I've seen enough. You're the new Sporting Director.

yea I know, but just make it simple so people who ain’t familiar with accounting can still understand the message lol

They better just scrap all these rules. Just like F1, no one wants accounting champion instead of racing champion

He's welcome to leave, they all are. It's the method. Isak was welcome to leave next year, hell if we'd lost that game at the end of this season he was welcome to leave this year, but with some fucking respect.

That's precisely what Liverpool is counting on from us, TBF.

I'm really not bothered about Liverpool like. Just get as much money for him as possible and get on with trying to improve the squad. Harmony will at least get better. It seems he's upset more than the support.

I'm actually over him going to Liverpool now as long as we get Sesko and don't sell Isak on the cheap, anything less than 140 million and we have been had . The bloke is clearly a massive prick the way he has gone on this summer and I never want to see him in a black and white shirt again. If he is still here it will only be some half arsed effort for a season before this circus starts again next year.

I hate every bit of having to know any of this shite.  I think we have to so that you can fairly assess what the club are doing, but it’s absolute wank that this is such a big part of football

Fatigue is the aim, imo. Sesko coming in give us the option to bench the cunt if he's still going walkabout for 70 minutes a night. But giving in to this agent/liverpool/sky bullshit is antithetical to our ambitions to be number 1.

I’ve no idea why anyone thinks having a stroppy Isak stinking the place out for a season would be a good thing beyond being a ‘flex’.  Bollocks to that, get the correct money for the cunt from whoever is willing to drop it and onwards and upwards.  I’ve faith that Howe will target the right replacements (provided the club can actually remember how to sign players).

Too bad, so sad. Fucking kick the ball in the net, cunt.

I'm enjoying seeing "These refs are cunts" after the 20th free throw in a row version of Mike in the football section tbh

Exactly. He's just another footballer, although extremely talented, that wants pastures new. Fuck him and his greedy agent. No room for cunts at this club.

As long as we get our money which is due. Which at present we aren't.

The number of reasons why people think it's a terrible decision to sell to a domestic rival in the circumstances have been described in excruciating detail and I'm sure you'll have read it.

It's nothing to do with it being a 'flex' in the slightest.
