The number of reasons why people think it's a terrible decision to sell to a domestic rival in the circumstances have been described in excruciating detail and I'm sure you'll have read it.

It's nothing to do with it being a 'flex' in the slightest.

It doesn't matter man. We can't sell him to just anyone because it suits us. He wants to go to Liverpool and that's that. Fkn pointless hanging on to him when he's not happy here. Not sure we're actually rivals to Liverpool either. We're fkn years behind them in reality. Decades even. They're just too attractive a proposition for most players and we just can't compete with that.

So you would sell to them for £110m then?

Looks like we going to be stuck with the prick till next summer whilst he half arses his way through the season , then we get to have the same circus next year.

Could always sell him for £110m.

He can half ass all he wants if it yields another 20+ season. Means we do well and his value remains high.

Think we are more likely to see the Isak of the last 10 games than the pre cup final Isak.

If what you're saying had any substance, Kane would be at Man City, Suarez would have gone to Arsenal, Modric to Chelsea, Rooney to Man City, Ronaldo to Man City, Zaha to Arsenal, and countless others where clubs have simply said no, not happening.

It does matter, you've just invented this reality where we simply must sell a player with 3 years on his contract specifically to Liverpool.

That one I understand, but I’m not onboard with the argument that it will impact our reputation.

And for less than he's worth.

feels like less of an invented reality and more of a remnant mentality from the Ashley years to be honest. Hopefully the club isn't as weak and dumb.

Have you considered working out what you think will happen and then explaining why you won't be bothered by it when it does happen?

0%. Liverpool won’t move back for him if he’s not at same output that makes it hard to not go back in for him. And he’s a striker, just like we’ve seen with Wilson, they care about their individual records and themselves. Goals means stronger terms.

I would not. But I genuinely think they'll stump up at least £140 million. I'd be sorely tempted to accept that.

Personally think it will be 150m. Just how much of that is add-ons is the unknown

Invented a reality???? Hahaha wtf. It's what is going to happen man. He wants away. What's the point in holding him hostage. He's a little dick and we don't need him around the place. I'm pretty confident that the club had an inkling about this months ago too. We should have done so much more to get an adequate replacement sorted before this attempt at panic buying.

We may have missed out on Sesko so the club might dig their heels in but the damage is done. Players and supporters pissed off with him. Get as much money as we can but get rid.
