Erm how, suddenly le sulk announces he wants out and fakes an injury..... when the team is touring Asia.

Since he did this (or we learned it publically), we've only signed Ramsdale on loan.

People can call him cunt, traitor, turncoat, whatever. But he's still our player, and Ekitike, Pedro, Sesko etc, are not. So fuck them basically. Right now we only have Osula as an alternative so pardon me if I don't join in the witch hunt just yet.

given our situtation, theree's no point in burning bridges. If the fucker starts acting like a professional, then there should be a way back.

My favourite thing is people saying it's the clubs fault for not replacing him quick enough and then not being able to provide an alternative to what they should have done

My favourite is people thinking a random fan should be the one to suggest targets and not the teams scouting department doing their job and finding players who a) fit our profile and b) want to come or the selling club won't take us for a ride. Works for other clubs strangely.

It's not a great look that every player we try to sign as his replacement is picking the cartel clubs as well. He won't say it publicly but he probably feels vindicated when he sees them turn us down and get the same move he's looking for.

We can only turn this around from a position of strength and that's to hold him for another year and bring in a top striker like Wissa who we can use to bench Isak if he's not performing.

exactly. And if we do that, we'll at least have sent a message to the cartel clubs that we don't intend to fuck off back into relegation battles.

The problem with that is both us and the clubs we buy the replacement from barely have any time to do it. Say we get Wissa then Brentford have to find someone and so on. We get Sesko then Red Bull have to find someone and so on. This shit needed to be announced way before now..... and even then.....why would we want to sell to the bin dippers????

I'd have more respect for him if he'd requested a transfer or if he'd been more than a prospect at any of the other teams he played for. Dortmund couldn't even make him good the mercenary twat.

People talk about "scouting" as if they're on Football Manager and that there's hundreds of players that could come in and replace Isak as long as the scouts do their jobs

When in reality there's such a small pool of players that fit that criteria and the club have put bids in for them but they aren't joining

Random fans do that all the time for fun, doing so to justify criticism should be even less of a chore.

We've found several players just been outbid for them by those other clubs largely because of the financial restrictions that are applied to us but not them.

In short, it's a shit show and Isak isn't wholly to blame, our financial situation mixed with our ineptitude at securing transfer targets are also factors. Cheers lads.
