My perfect scenario would be PSG and though Isak has thrown his toys out saying only Liverpool, surely PSG has some draw? Current champions, fantastic team, money fits. 

 

For us it could work too, they have players we could use + money. Ramos, Kolo Muani, Lee Kang-In, Asencio (at a stretch). We were interested in Ramos prior to signing Isak, since his Benfica days too.

What? Harder than they've already been. I know he'll be a big loss but this whole situation is crippling our transfer window and has killed all the highs from last season. Tell him/them it's £150 million by 5pm on Saturday or it's not happening. We desperately need to get everyone back on track for next week.

Ofcourse its going to be harder to negotiate with other teams. That has not been our problem so far, attracting the actual players has.

I'm not buying that like. You never hear that with other clubs when they sell big. They just get on with it and source a replacement. Clubs already know we have money before the Isak sale. We need to target players who really want the move.

I’d take those three Ramos Muani and Kangin straight swap for Isak now. Would sort out a lot of issues at once. If they wanted to throw in Donnarumma or a CB (Skriniar?) they’re not using even better. We can give them the Sesko money.

I was listening to the Overlap thing this morning and when the Newcastle supporter suggested the fair fee for Isak being around £150m, many on the show seemed entirely bowled over in astonishment at it. It's not the first time I've read or seen that reaction either. For me it feels very cut and dry, if Wirtz is £116m, then one of the world's best strikers, proven in the Premier League, with a unique skillset and at the perfect age is surely worth £30m+ more? Are we missing something here or is it just an example of the condescending attitude of the cartel club supporters towards all things Newcastle United?

Carragher saying £150m is Mbappe money. Tell your club to go and offer £150m to Real Madrid for Mbappe and see what they say, I'd suggest the response would be even more "emphatic" than our rejection of their Isak bid reportedly was, the fucking idiot

It is a bit aye, I find it more frustrating than I should to be honest. It feels like a concerted effort to look down on Newcastle United in a sniggering, scornful way. I veer from finding it frustrating to somewhat pathetic that they feel the need to deride us, looking down upon on from their already lofty positions.

The facts feel obvious to me, you cast a glance over other recent and even not so recent transfers, and it becomes evidently clear that asking for £150m for Isak is quite sensible and reasonable comparatively.
