Whilst I appreciate the sentiment I'm not sure this is a particularly healthy attitude to have. 

 

I mean yeah, whatever happens going forwards this will be forever a blot on his time with us and will probably prevent him ever achieving legend status. 

 

But on the other hand he was part of the team who qualified for the CL twice (remove him and maybe we don't - same could be said or other players too) and won our first trophy for centuries. 

 

And maybe going forwards he's reintegrated and gives it his all. At that point we shouldn't forget what has happened but he's still a NUFC player and the best thing we can do is give him and the team our support.
