Yes, rats have an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL)

in their knees (often referred to in research as the "stifle joint").

Anatomical Similarity: The ligaments and menisci in rat knees are located in similar positions and orientations to those in humans, including the ACL, posterior cruciate ligament (PCL), medial collateral ligament (MCL), and lateral collateral ligament (LCL).

Research Use: Because of these similarities, rats are frequently used in orthopedic research to study ACL ruptures, ligament reconstruction, and post-traumatic osteoarthritis.

Rivalry and bitterness aside, that looked like a really nasty injury and I hope it's not as bad as first feared.

I hope it's significantly worse.

The one after the goal he was holding his ankle

I recorded the game to watch this afternoon my time. Just rewound it he grabs his ankle as he goes down then grabs his knee. Might be both to be honest.

A double blow of a ruptured ACL and ankle ligaments would be unheard of and horrible, like.

Wouldn't wish it on any cunt in the world.

I can understand people being reticent to wish bodily harm on someone, but let's remember if his career ended tomorrow he'll still be set for life with more money than he'll ever know what to do with. If karma gives him a little slap in the face and limits his career it might even teach him a few life lessons, I'm not going to feel the slightest bit sorry for someone who acted like he did and who'll still be living a life 99% of the world could only dream about.

Yes very good chance both, if you look at how his knee twists and bends there is definitely a cruciate going or at least getting pulled

Just saw Allison interview says he thinks he’ll be ok and hopes it’s just a knock

It’s never just a knock with Isak. He’s always out for extended periods of time for injuries that don’t look like much.
