He scored last week. And the week before.

Fair enough but I think Isak, and strikers in general see a huge difference between scoring pens and scoring goals from open play.

He clearly tweaked something when he attempted that twisting behind him finish towalds the end of the final and hasn't been right since that moment.

Whether you think it was mind games or not. He missed the game at Anfield with a groin problem and has had them in the past. Don’t think it’s a coincidence, personally.

I’m not on about his lack of goals. It’s his all round play, speed, dribbling and how he often seems to be on his heels. So unlike him.

He isn’t even getting many good chances of late. He was snatching at them a lot earlier in the season. But he was still getting 2-3 decent chances a game a lot of the while.

In all fairness he’s not had a decent supply in the last few games, and I think like most in the squad, he’s knackered.

Exactly - The supply to him has been awful- been feeding off scraps for weeks. Likes ball to feet not hoofed into the box

From Villa onwards perhaps, but prior to that the service to him was great.

Aye he did his bit off the ball. No complaints about graft.  His touch and decisions have been poor for some time. Didn’t have any good efforts on goal.

I disagree there was times in the second half when chelsea could just play at there leisure at the back and he didn't try to harry or anything he just stood there watching.

PSG game last year springs to mind with him not been able to work off the ball. Howe needs to use his attacking subs to get him off early after 60 minutes.

He’s not 100%, no way.

Probably not, but I think most people would still rather he started the last two matches ahead of Wilson or Osula unless he's completely knackered.

If you look at all the training sessions, he has a strapping just above the calf area. He's carrying an injury, but Howe isn't going to come out and say this. I'm certain he will though when the season is over.

Genuinely wouldn't mind if he didn't play for the remainder of the season if his injury persists. Rest of the team is carrying him on their shoulders atm in the hope that they can provide him with an easy tap in or a penalty.

Or, I would mind since it would mean Wilson starts instead. I wouldn't mind if it was Osula or Gordon up top for the last two games.

I agree he's been way off, I just wouldn't feel confident with either Osula or Wilson coming in until we've confirmed CL.

Imagine going into the Everton game needing a win with Wilson upfront, would put me on edge.

A one legged Isak is preferred ahead of May 2025 version of Wilson.

I don't think his name alone is enough to get an automatic start. He is a passenger right now just like Wilson would be.

I know Howe would never do it, but I'd be way more confident in getting results with someone that can run up top i.e Gordon or Osula.
