Holloway
Thought it was quite an even contest, tbh. Both keepers made a couple of key saves ,and the rest of the game was like Miggy
MrRaspberryJam
We were better than Palace.

So we certainly get about, us Geordies. You too mate. Honestly can't beat being Home. The city is one of a kind. Easily one of the best cities in the UK. The Prophet
13 minutes ago, HaydnNUFC said: Done and thought the same. Should've won regardless of the robbery and that's without our 3 best players against a decent enough Palace side. Bodes well for next week and Bournemouth (h). The commentators though when VAR was looking at the goal and disallowed it honestly am finding it mental that our fans knew there was nothing wrong with it, the Palace fans can see it, the Palace players, our players, the commentators and countless neutrals but those fucking twats who are paid to get these decisions correct are the only ones who couldn't. On field refs need to grow a pair also, I think. They have their own pairs of eyes and own brains to be able to look at the footage and say to the VAR 'actually mate, I don't think that's a foul/goal/red card'. Over the years since VAR has been introduced to the PL we've had refs hardly ever going to the screen to have a look, now they look at the screen for every decision even at times when the decision that has to be made is glaringly obvious and 999/1000 they overturn the original decision even though they're their own person and ref and can make their own judgement from the footage to stick with their own decision. The refs yesterday originally saw nothing wrong with the goal, nor did Mitchell or any single one of the Palace players. Fuck it all. That's key. Refs obviously believe they're powerless once they're called over to the monitor. Refs need to actually have the confidence to back themselves and stick with the original decision. tomlynnherrington
There was no foul so the ref didn’t give a foul.Having looked at the screen,he should have asked for a couple of seconds more footage of the incident because he only saw a second of footage before Willock and the keeper collided. If that wasn’t possible he should have stuck with his decision.Un fuckin believable 😡😡😡
joeyt
Not that it matters much in the grand scheme but have noticed teams are making us kick towards the Gallowgate first a lot more Already this season we've had Palace and Forest do it with Liverpool doing it at the end of last season
JUICE690
Willock looked like he’d been fucking catapulted man. He shouldn’t need to see a longer clip to know that’s not a push. 😆
beardsleymagic
Another thing that hasn’t been mentioned is how no Palace player protested about the goal. Normally there would be a crowd of players surrounding the referee.
The Prophet
Has to be said, even putting goal decision aside, the ref looked a rabbit in the headlights. He was atrocious for the most part.

et tu brute
See the Palace fans are still going on saying it's a 'minimal push', obviously can't get their bias out of their heads or clueless about football. My guess is a bit of both. Just look at Willock's body position after the push. No push and he heads that into an empty net. It's either a goal or a penalty. The fact that just about everyone in football who's had an opinion on it disagrees with them, says a lot.
