If you'd told me then we'd be in a European semi final now, I'd think you were joking (or assumed it was some sort of shitty pre-season round robin tournament). Do you think these games had a huge impact on the players in terms of fitness, and that's a part of it? Beating these teams takes some really really hard work. Especially that Man City game. Was it someone on here who said he'd been invited to our game today? He's not listed on the injury list so could be some truth in it OR could just be he's left out because Fulham know he's leaving so aren't bothering with him. Not that Fulham would have to respect anything like that anyway, could well have been the players decision.
