I still maintain that Elanga isn’t good enough for us, never mind for 50m or whatever it was rumoured to be. I don’t think we’ve even bid for him tbh.

In a team that is almost purely about transitions and exploiting space and going in straight lines then yeah he’s a very good fit. In general play otherwise he doesn’t have much to his game, and never has.

He’s not an awful player, but to where we wanna go we need more than he offers. I’d rather have Murphy than spending big money on Elanga.

What is it about this 4-1-4-1 that Forrest play that makes it so hard to break down, we've seen teams sit deep before, but they never seemed this effective.

The gulf between Murphy and Elanga isn't worth the financial outlay, completely agree.

There isn't a secret. They all work really hard, they've got players who love to defend and work hard.

2 CBs are proper defenders. Yates is an absolute shithouse. Anderson and Gibbs-White have energy to burn. Then they have pace in wide areas and a striker in the form of his life.

There is no pressure on them to attack teams. They sit and counter.

I'm all for Liverpool fucking up but they're finishing ahead of us this season most likely whereas we could do with Forest dropping some points.

Don't get me wrong. My heart wants Forest to win. Head says Liverpool though.

Before we go to Anfield, Liverpool have 4 away games, Brentford, Bournemouth, Everton and Man City. Two at home which they'll likely win.

Dare to dream

Yup, Nuno has them incredibly disciplined. They've all bought in and it's working for them.

Are we allowed to win at Stamford Bridge and Anfield in the same season?
