They’re closer than Ibrox and Celtic Park.

It's undoubtedly geographically-speaking a derby but in terms of history and enmity, it's about as much a derby as Rochdale vs Blackburn

 It’s one of the joys of being a Premier League team in London - they’re all fucking derbies. Pain in the arse tbh.

I know that north London is spicy and you get the odd spicy game with Millwall and... well everyone they play but London games are poor as piss to be called Derbys.

With the utmost respect, having been to a ton of them over 45 years, you’re very wrong

Aye.

Presuming it’s more size of the clubs and immediate peers than geographical. Would have QPR, Brentford and Fulham as more logical bedfellows, with WHAM, Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea being the historic rivalries in the PL era.

Fulham will beat Chelsea, they also have a horrendous run in.

Fulham also play City, Villa and Bournemouth along with them so quite chilled on their chances of overhauling us. Happy to have them be a thorn in the side of those 4.

Southampton relegated.

Absolute shitshow of a club this season. After Derby and last season’s Sheffield United team they’re a Top 3 deadbeat effort.

I did say that the North London Derby had some spice. Have you been to a Tyne-Wear derby, or a Old firm? I suspect it's not even in the same stratosphere.

I believe Chelsea and QPR have a thing (maybe more on the QPR side) and years back, Chelsea and Fulham given the proximity. Brentford are so recently in the PL, there's not much there but not speaking from experience like.

Went to a Celtic v Rangers game January 1990. It was an incredible experience, very intimidating in that era.

Edit - had to check my old tickets, it was actually January 88. Celtic won 2-0. Paul McStay was fantastic.

Something has got to give with the gap between the PL and Championship.

It's just boring to watch. 3 go up, same 3 come down.

Closed league.

I was having this conversation with your dad ahead of the final.
