Also drew with Brentford who are bottom half. So 4 wins 2 draws against bottom half teams in 2025.

Right, didn't see that. There might be hope for Everton to manage a draw at Goodison..

Man I opened this thread half an hour or so ago and was led to believe Palace were on fire and Wednesday was looking bleak. They're absolutely shite.

A lot of this is down to City being good in the second half IMO. We’ll need to be on it on Wednesday.

And I can tell I’m going to really hate Palace when we play them. Poor challenges, little kicks, complaining. Step up Big Joe.

City are still beating the lower half teams consistenly. In 2025 they've won every game against bottom 10 except a draw at Old Trafford. They'll beat Wolves, Soton and Everton for sure. Atleast one of the other ones aswell. Should be enough for them.

Id say they are favorites for third, but we can easily get ahead of them.

Hard to see them not making top 5 though.

5 unanswered goals.   It was a foot away from being 3-0, then Kamada did his thing for KDB to fuck their shit up. Crazy game.

Also 2 of the wins are free wins against the relegation "candidates" ;)

Shef u throwing it away

Good, something about them makes me not want them to come up, and also I want Plymouth to stay up, no matter how slim that possibility is.

Sheff U only lost 6 matches in 39 then suddenly lose 3 in a row, all against unremarkable sides. It's probably more likely 5th or 6th will be more of a threat to Sunderland at this stage.

Just like they have 2 games left to play against bottom 4.

Aye and not just unremarkable, but the dross of the bottom half as well. Bottled it. Interesting to see if any of the teams coming up can make a decent effort at staying up. Sheff U might as well not bother but the top 2 might be a bit more likely to stay up than the teams from the past couple of seasons
