Last night in the Man Utd game the Forest defender passed the ball back to the keeper, he skied his clearance which then bounced back into his hands. It should have been a backpass and I cant understand why it wasn't given, did the commentary team mention anything at the time?

Fortunately for Brentford they actually have to play football matches and they aren’t decided in advance.

I think I read somewhere on Twitter because the goalkeeper intenionally tried to kick the ball back into play it doesnt then count as a backpass

Toney back for the next league game, it will be interesting to see whether they will sell him in january.

 

Also, when it comes to Everton I don't think it's a coincidence that they started looking worse once Doucouré got injured. He's coming back soon.
