The irony is if we didn’t need to sell Anderson and Minteh urgently we’d not need to spend now. Anderson would phase out Longstaff and Minteh would be cover for Murphy and someone who can change the game from the bench. We didn’t benefit from Vlach coming in at all. We literally got weaker, others at least got a young player they can flip later. Terrible business.

Title and relegation will all be wrapped up by the end of February. Will make a dull end of season for the neutral in a sense, but the real excitement will be who finishes between 2nd and 8th, literally could be anyone there at the minute, mayve even Brighton too.

 

5th place looking extremely likely to be a Champions League spot makes it more interesting too, hopefully we just give Liverpool their flowers at the end of Feb then just forget they exist and all about 2nd to 8th.
