Stottie
Don't mind the result because the game was mad, but it might have been different with Savage on my river. I cannot stand him. The criminal bit would be if Man U won this, got into the CL, and then got more money than us for the CL regardless of progress due to some coefficient bollox. ponsaelius
Honestly wouldn't fancy Lazio to beat Spurs anymore than Bodo based on the two legs. The plastic pitch/arctic circle thing is such a levelling factor for them. Spurs heavy favourites regardless.
LionOfGosforth
Lyon, a professional team, conceded 3 goals in about 6 minutes against probably the worst Man Utd side in 50 years.

Billy Warthog
Every time I referred to them in the past, I took care to label them as spawny bastards. Now that label is safe for the next 10 years.

ponsaelius
Always thought CL teams dropping into the Europa was a load of bollocks but I've changed my mind, they need to change it back. This tournament is going to become dominated by underperforming but overpowered PL teams winning it just to get the CL cash.

There's not just that, you just aren't getting the teams who are some of the best in Europe but who struggle due to the stupid coefficient stuff as well who drop down into it to make it stronger. Bayern are owned by a division of one of the largest car manufacturers in the world, the world’s largest sportswear manufacture, and one of Germany’s and the world’s largest banks. Leverkusen are owned by one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Wolfsburg owned by one of the largest car manufacturers in the world. Stuttgart owned by a division of one of the largest car manufacturers in the world, and one of the largest luxury car manufacturers. Sick of the myth that surrounds German football. They have all benefitted by being able to be owned by these companies and having their money trickle down to them to sustain them.
