Hibs a goal up in Serbia against Partizan, who are also down to 10 men. Still bitter over those 2 ties, especially the CL one

Dundee United 1-1 heading into half time. Actually, Rapid have just retaken the lead.

Can’t stand Hibs, maybe because I rather like Hearts, but still, I was hoping that they would crash out.

Feel like the Championship really has gone downhill in recent years, the quality is absolutely shite, and it's not entertaining shite anymore, it's just dull rubbish football. Used to be entertaining at least years ago as whilst the quality wasn't great you'd have attacking games, but even that's gone now.

Was quite looking forward to this game but it's dreadful, two of the fancied sides to come up as well.

Been absolute duds on TV since the season came back so far, all just so boring, bring back the darts and cricket, football is dull man.

I really don't like being in Birmingham. Sure, there's plenty of nice bits and places but the general feel is pretty grim.

Nah. The city centre is top notch. It's a massive city, it has shit bits and it has very nice bits.

It produced Black Sabbath and Judas Priest. That alone makes Birmingham alright for me.

Invented an entire genre of music.

And half of Led Zeppelin (Redditch, despite not being politically in Birmingham is the most Brummie place on earth, and Wolverhampton isn't far off that).

There are some lovely bits in the city centre. But I ended up spending a fair bit of time there last month and I was never too far away from some unpleasantness

Lowlights: spiced up man running down the pavement before crashing out and falling to the floor with his head over the kerb right by a tram stop - this was at Grand Central. Two people walking up to a wall by McDonalds - just up from the Bullring - and pissing all over it before having a very loud conversation about scoring some drugs and worrying about their probation meetings. Really unpleasant types blocking pavements walking into the centre along a road from Millennium Point, with loads of broken glass bottles about.

I also find the area around the Bullring just a bit too busy - which isn't a major negative - just a personal dislike. Feels like you're easily harassed and didn't enjoy walking there with my kids.

Obviously, Snow Hill, Brindley Place, around the library and museum and plenty of other bits are class. But my overall impression was of an unease that I was never that far away from it being uncomfortable. Haven't had that feeling when I've been around the main bits of say Manchester, Newcastle and the touristy bits of London. There will no doubt be similar areas in those cities, but I never get that uncertain feeling there quite like I did in Birmingham.

Hanley (Stoke's main town) has really started to go that way too around the main shopping streets. Wasn't like that 5 or so years ago.
