Its not just Anfield its pretty much everywhere and has been for ages. Its expecting us to be the illogical exception to expect it to be great at SJP whilst everywhere else is a pale shadow of what it used to be.

I don't think anyone is expecting it to go back to a by-gone era. But just to accept shite because “that’s just the way it is these days” reeks of defeatism and suggests that the prevailing attitude is that it’s not even worth trying to improve the situation because what’s the point.

Give us at least 10,000 rail seats that are also singing sections, allow people who don’t want to stand and sing to move out of those sections. Atmosphere will improve.

RAWK reaction:

“Wirtz was bad. Gakpo somehow even worse off the bench.”

“That is down to Hughes and the recruitment team. If you can see how we want to play and what attributes Slot wants in players then why cant Hughes?”

“It’s like watching paint dry. Everything Klopp built, gone. We play some of the worst football I can remember.”

“i haven't posted much, but that show was a full manager has not got a clue, sorry for SLot fans but we are better than that , slow , back to Allison football, its horrible to watch with on paper the best team in the league ,we will be in europe next year, which comp? because all of teams are poor around us, taking wirtz off is or should be his last stand,”

Fancy the mackems to get something v Man City. Sure they used to Man Citys bogey team. Certainly remember a couple of backs to the wall 90 minute defensive displays only for them to run up the pitch in injury time and win 1-0.

Was just reading there, they are the last team to beat Man City in the first game of the calendar year, back in 2012

City have won their first league game in a remarkable 18 of the past 19 years, including the past 13 in a row. Interestingly, though, the last time they did not take three points was a 1-0 loss to Sunderland on New Year's Day in 2012.

It feels like that in the league as a whole this season. It’s really difficult to pick out an obvious win each week as so many teams are capable of a fuck up.

We haven't been at our best but everyone is dropping points. Convinced next 3 league games define us. Palace, Leeds home. Wolves away. 3 wins would be huge.
