But looking at the other teams in the Europa have to say Villa look big favourites to win it. The way it's been structured the last few years, surely it's now lost alot of prestige to win the Europa. Doesn't seem like as big a challenge as it once was. I'd back us to win it comfortably if we were in it either this year or last. The new format opens the door wide open for a PL entrant to win it every year. Feel like I'd actively not want to see us in the Conference. You'd basically be massively underachieving by not winning it and that undermines the concept of being champions. Palace have been an embarrassment frankly. It was an underachievement for you by not winning it but it's an even weaker competition now with no Europa dropouts. The seeded teams this year include a Cypriot side, the second best side in Czechia and two La Liga and Bundesliga sides each in relegation scraps. Also, in the Champions League this year: Pafos (which sounds like a minor Greek philosopher), Qarabag (a Radio 6 Music-friendly mostly-instrumentals band), USG (isn't that a mid-low level sportswear retailer), Bodo Glimt (a Tolkien character), and Kairat (someone's cat walked over the keyboard whilst UEFA were typing their name into the draw).
