Just a random thought, but what word would you say characterises the stereotype of each fanbase?

Eg, off the top of my head.

Arsenal: Psychotic

Chelsea: Cunts

Everton: Bitter

Liverpool: Sanctimonious

Man United: Arrogant

Us: Deluded

Southampton: Apathetic?

Don’t think I’d have Arsenal as psychotic. Infantile? Weird? Pretentious? Hard to nail it down

Sounds like the Club World Cup is going to be a wild success:

Quote

In the most recent updates, officials said they had budgeted for cost savings that would cut the expenditure to between $1 billion and $800 million, leaving a projection of at least $1 billion in net income, money that could be used to pay the participating clubs.

That profit is assuming FIFA hits commercial targets that defy the expectations of most analysts and industry experts. FIFA has told stakeholders that the Club World Cup will generate $800 million in media rights, and between $1 billion and $1.2 billion in partnership and sponsorship sales, as much as four times estimates.

However, several experts who have either worked with FIFA or bought rights from the organization estimated that the entirety of the competition, including commercial and broadcast rights, was worth more in the range of $500 million to $700 million.

$800mn in media rights is some climbdown when they were originally saying $4bn - and it appears even that's wishful thinking. Idiots.

I’m sure the Pessi and Penaldo virgins will be out in force watching it.

IMO Club World Cup is a decent idea and something that has been lacking. The problem is there's just no room for it in the current calendar and players are finally talking about the too many matches they are made to play every season.

I think we had the same last year.

I just checked - even last year’s pile-up wasn’t as bad. You had eight games in December and five in January (two FA Cup games - rounds 3 and 4). We currently have nine in December and seven in January. Sixteen games, and that’s only because the 4th round of the FA Cup is now in February. The whole thing is insane and unsustainable.

Yeah, it's pretty much the same, the only difference being that you play on the 29th while we played on the 1st of jan instead. From 1st of december to 15th of january we had 11 games, the exact same as you. But I agree that the added games right after that are painful.

No, we’ll have 12, you’re missing the third round of the FA Cup for us.

Not the point though, it’s just too much for everyone.
