The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)

Recommended Posts

If we win we can look at second place.

if we lose we could be 6th by the end of the weekend.

its really nervy - but we can count our blessings either way, any Europe is great to be in and we will continue to get better

DM isn't the kind of manager to stand for players downing tools in for them, dead rubbers. Everton will give us a game, make no mistake.

DM is a cunt. He'll love the idea of getting one over on us.

NGL that is pretty impressive like. We need to make sure we get europe again next season whatever competition we are in.

As long as it’s not Conference League.

Hasn't half felt like some of the timing of the fixtures has conspired against us. Everybody seems to be playing teams on the beach.

This is why all you can do is win your own games. It's still in our hands, just means we have no margin for error now.

It's incredible how many teams have so little to play for so early in the season. It feels like everyone is on the beach apart from 4 or 5 teams.

Ridiculous season of Prem football.

Some of the people who are saying villa ain't gonna beat man united are the same who were saying they not g9nna beat bournemouth.

At the end of the day it don't matter. We need to win all of our games and it's ours.

And those same people said Man City will beat Southampton.

We probably do have a margin for error TBH, the problem is you don’t know what it is until the end.

Dont really get what you guys mean by must win. With a draw we are still 4th like. Its not like its impossible to win vs Arsenal in their current form.

Not loving our chances with a draw, but far from over.

Dont take it for granted that Villa will win vs Manu away and that Forest (1W 1D 4L their last 6) will win their games either.

I maintain that the pressure being kept on us is no bad thing, especially when two of our three remaining games are at home.

I definitely agree. Things like this and the domestic cup runs will hopefully end up being good practice for when we’re after the title and European trophies.

It simply isn’t a must win. It would be a very important win. We’d cease to favourites to make the top 5 if we don’t win . But it’s not a must win. Unless people think the Arsenal is a dead rubber if we draw v Chelsea ?? ?

Think it's more about momentum tbh. A lucky draw or a loss in this would really give us the heebiejeebies for the other two imo, whereas a win would do the opposite and we'd go into the last two full of confidence
