James
If we win we can look at second place. if we lose we could be 6th by the end of the weekend. its really nervy - but we can count our blessings either way, any Europe is great to be in and we will continue to get better

We need to make sure we get europe again next season whatever competition we are in. As long as it’s not Conference League.

Everybody seems to be playing teams on the beach. This is why all you can do is win your own games. It's still in our hands, just means we have no margin for error now. Jewel
It's incredible how many teams have so little to play for so early in the season. It feels like everyone is on the beach apart from 4 or 5 teams. Ridiculous season of Prem football. Edited 3 hours ago by Jewel

AyeDubbleYoo
I’m sure we don’t need to win all our games. A win tomorrow will make things much clearer, hopefully.

We probably do have a margin for error TBH, the problem is you don’t know what it is until the end.

Displayname
Dont really get what you guys mean by must win. With a draw we are still 4th like. Its not like its impossible to win vs Arsenal in their current form. Not loving our chances with a draw, but far from over. Dont take it for granted that Villa will win vs Manu away and that Forest (1W 1D 4L their last 6) will win their games either. AyeDubbleYoo
I've thought a while that a win and 2 draws could do it, but obvs you ideally want the win against Chelsea to relax things.
Yorkie
I maintain that the pressure being kept on us is no bad thing, especially when two of our three remaining games are at home.
The College Dropout
Always thought we needed to beat Chelsea and Everton to secure CL football. Nothing has changed. The Amex point was a good one

I definitely agree. Things like this and the domestic cup runs will hopefully end up being good practice for when we’re after the title and European trophies. Superior Acuña
It simply isn’t a must win. It would be a very important win. We’d cease to favourites to make the top 5 if we don’t win . But it’s not a must win. Unless people think the Arsenal is a dead rubber if we draw v Chelsea ?? ? Edited 1 hour ago by Superior Acuña

A lucky draw or a loss in this would really give us the heebiejeebies for the other two imo, whereas a win would do the opposite and we'd go into the last two full of confidence
Ginola14 Posted just now Share Posted just now (edited) I think the Arsenal fear is largely down to our appalling record at their ground bar this season's cup game and it's their last home game so should be up for it I keep telling myself if we don't get CL at least we'll win the Europa next season Edited just now by Ginola14
